While returning from the previous call The Lifeboat crew were asked by Humber Coastguard to go to 2 inflatable dinghys half a mile of shore that had been reported in trouble. The Alb was 1st to respond as the ILB was still dealing with the previous shout. Once on scene it was established that the 2 people in the inflatable Kayaks were in no immedate danger although 1 of the kayaks looked a bit deflated. The ILB had now arrived on scene and due to the state of the kayak and the fact they had no safety equipment the ilb took them aboard and returned them to shore both kayakers where safely ashore by 18.30. Leaving the lifeboats to returned to station the Lifeboats were refueled and ready for service by 19.30.

The All Weather Lifeboat crew were paged by Humber Coastguard at 15.38 to go to the assistance of a the dive boat Recipe which had a deflated sponson and was taking on water and had 2 divers in the water.The lifeboat launched with coxswain S Mckie at the helm and made the 25 min passage to the recipe while en route the lifeboat was informed that another dive boat had recovered the divers from the water and was standing by the stricken dive boat. Once on scene the divers and there gear where transfered to the lifeboat and the boat was taken in tow back to Belvedere launch site. Due to the shallow water at Belvedere the inshore lifeboat was tasked and transfered the divers and there gear back to shore before returning and taking the dive boat under tow back ashore. The recipe was safely ashore at 18.00 Leaving the lifeboats to returned to station.
